This is the most significant age period, during which everyone must adhere to specific recommendations made by Ayurveda.  A healthy diet and lifestyle should be followed by those between sixteen and forty. Why is adhering to Ayurveda crucial while you are young? Ayurveda not only assists you in avoiding illnesses, but it also boosts your vitality and immunity for when you get older and need it. So in order to live a long and healthy life, you essentially have to follow the Ayurvedic principles.

Doshas are the fundamentals of Ayurveda, and their balance is important since an unbalanced dosha will lead to a sick body. A balanced diet allows your pitta dosha to properly digest your food, and proper nutrient absorption occurs from easy digestion, offering all of the Dhatus (tissues) a good strength.

Maintaining a healthy timetable is important when it comes to eating. Despite the fact that Ayurveda does not advocate eating three meals a day, it is now necessary to consume a light breakfast. You should eat something light and readily digestible because your agni is weak in the morning and the evening. At noon, a fulfilling lunch should be eaten. Avoid eating processed foods. Consider incorporating all six tastes into your diet.

Avoid combining foods that are incompatible, such as fish and milk, banana and milk, or honey and hot water. This is known as Viruddha Ahara. After consuming hot tea or a hot food item, avoid drinking cold liquids or eating cold things. Bring dietary changes according to the seasons. Eat only seasonal produce instead of out-of-season food. Eat properly cooked food instead of salads and other raw foods that could harm your digestive system.

Instead of concentrating on developing or adding muscle, pay attention to keeping your body healthy. Avoid vigorous exercise because it could stress your heart and harm it severely. Instead, engage in some light exercise, yoga, and meditation.
